Kyphoplasty
Kyphoplasty is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to treat a spinal compression fracture. These fractures occur primarily in spinal vertebrae that have been weakened by osteoporosis or trauma. Kyphoplasty is a procedure to help stabilize the bone and restore some or all of the lost vertebral body height due to the fracture. Immediate pain relief normally follows the procedure, allowing patients to resume their daily activities when they return home. For more information regarding Kyphoplasty procedures, call to schedule an appointment with one of our Pain Experts.
