Lumbar Disc Decompression
Lumbar Disc Decompression is a surgical procedure that is performed to alleviate pain caused by pinched nerves. During the minimally invasive procedure, a small portion of the bone over the nerve root and/or disc material from under the nerve root is removed. This allows the nerve root to have more space and provides a better healing environment. Lumbar Disc Decompression will reduce the pain and restore the patient’s ability to participate in everyday activities.
