Carissa Muller, FNP-C
I’ve always been drawn to healthcare, starting my journey as an ER nurse for nine years. Those fast-paced, high-pressure moments taught me so much about patient care and the importance of empathy. After that, I transitioned to working as a nurse practitioner in urgent care for five years, where I honed my skills in assessment and treatment. Now, as a pain management nurse practitioner, I get to combine all my experiences to make a real difference in the lives of patients dealing with chronic pain. I love being able to provide comprehensive care that addresses not just the physical aspects of pain, but also the emotional and psychological impacts it can have. Building strong relationships with my patients is what I value most. It’s incredibly rewarding to see them regain control over their lives and improve their overall well-being.
In her free time, Carissa loves watching her children play their favorite sports. Cheering them on from the sidelines is one of her favorite things to do. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, whether it is catching up over a nice dinner or a cookout at someone’s house. Whenever she gets the chance, she loves to travel and explore new places, making memories along the way.
