Facet Radiofrequency Neurotomy is a procedure used to reduce or eliminate pain that is generated from facet joints of the cervical or lumbar spine. Through the use of radiofrequency, pain signals from the medial branch nerve are disrupted, preventing the nerve from transmitting pain signals to the brain. This procedure can be used to treat pain in the neck, head, arms, shoulders and lower back.
