Discogram

PROCEDURE

Discogram

A discogram is an imaging test used to evaluate your back pain. During this procedure, dye is injected into the soft center of one or more discs. This allows the dye to identify the source of the pain and guide the treatment of abnormal intervertebral discs. X-rays then show the physician exactly which disc is injured and how to set a plan of action for your pain. This procedure is important to provide the best outcome depending on the area and the disc’s diagnosis. For more information, call to schedule an appointment with one of our Pain Experts.
