Epidural/Nerve Root Injection

PROCEDURE

Epidural/Nerve Root Injection

This procedure is a variation of the traditional midline epidural steroid injection that targets the precise nerve roots. This type of injection can provide pain relief of radicular pain symptoms in the neck and lower back area. Radicular pain refers to pain associated with an irritated nerve root or compression of a nerve root. This type of pain can start in the neck or lower back and radiate into the arm(s) or leg(s). Epidural/Nerve Root Injections can rapidly relieve your symptoms and allow you to return to previous activities you once enjoyed.
