It is very important for me to understand my patients’ symptoms and how their pain is affecting their lives. Placing myself in their shoes and listening to them leads me to suggest the best approaches for true, customized pain relief and control.”

The words ‘chronic pain’ can be two of the most painful words for a patient to say. Being an RN prior to a nurse practitioner afforded me the experience of providing one-on-one care with these patients. My personal dedication is to provide a level of care based on a compre-hensive approach, placing emphasis on the total well being of each and every patient.”

My primary goal is to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art care in an environment of comfortable compassion. I am triple Board Certified in Neurology, Pain Management, and Headache Medicine.  An important role I play in the care of patients — particularly during the ongoing opioid crisis — is to treat those with a history of addiction and pain issues.

As a Nurse Practitioner, my mission is to provide the highest quality of care to my patients in an individualized and caring manner. My goal is to help my patients understand their health problems and to provide an appropriate plan of care. I believe it is my responsibility to help patients make informed decisions regarding their healthcare.”

I find it very rewarding to help my patients who suffer from severe pain get back to doing the activities they enjoy.  I strive to treat my patients with compassionate care while offering minimally invasive interventional pain procedures. It is a privilege to be able to return to my home in Southeast Louisiana from my training in Boston and treat patients here on the Northshore.
