Dr. Kaye is the chairman, a tenured professor and a program director of the Department of Anesthesiology at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He served as a tenured associate professor at the Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana and as past professor and chairman of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Anesthesiology in Lubbock, Texas. He has authored or co-authored over 200 abstracts and 800 manuscripts and book chapters in the fields of pharmacology, pain management, and anesthesiology, in addition to editing over 35 books.
Eduction: Graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona with two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Biology and Psychology. He received a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Attended Medical School at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Fellowship trained in Interventional Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center of Anesthesiology in Lubbock, Texas.
